WHERE TO PLAY IN THE UK AND IRELAND
There are some 120 Casinos in the United Kingdom and most of them spread blackjack games of some sort, in addition, there are two card clubs in Dublin and a recently opened card club in Birmingham, the Elite Club.
Many people are somewhat overwhelmed on their first visit to a casino card room. They do not know what to expect and probably have the feeling that everyone there, except them, is an expert. However, take my advice, this impression is entirely wrong and there is nothing to be intimidated about. In UK card rooms, there is usually a member of casino staff on had to help with any enquiries and, despite the often forbidding facades, most card players are only too delighted to help beginners. (Could this be enlightened self interest?)
